I am on a mission to build 1,000,000 leaders who elevate others.

My approach

After nearly a decade in operational leadership, leading complex healthcare programs and teams of over 120 professionals, I’ve seen firsthand how unprepared many new and mid-level managers feel when they step into leadership.

Research consistently shows that roughly 60% of new managers receive little to no formal training when they transition into leadership roles. Yet they are immediately expected to drive performance, manage people, navigate conflict, and deliver results.

That gap is costly for individuals and for organizations.

That’s why I built this platform.

My approach bridges the gap between knowledge and execution.

I design experiential, cohort-based programs where leaders:

Lilian T Mubangizi

Leadership Educator

I founded The Future of Leadership Inc. after nearly a decade leading complex healthcare programs and large, multidisciplinary teams across North America and Africa.

I hold a Master of Public Health in Epidemiology, and I am a Certified Leadership & Performance Coach with experience across research and operations. 

Throughout my leadership journey, I saw a consistent challenge: high-performing professionals are promoted into management roles with significant responsibility but limited preparation for leading people. 

The Future of Leadership exists to close that gap.

We partner with organizations to equip operational leaders with practical coaching and emotional intelligence skills that improve accountability, engagement, and team performance.

I understand the realities of scale, workforce complexity, and frontline execution, and I bring that lived experience into every program we design.
I spend much of my free time advancing equal access to leadership education in underprivileged communities.
